Allison Rissel

After becoming a yoga teacher in 2006, Allison completed her Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. She advanced her yoga training by taking a deep dive of over 2,000 additional hours studying yoga, yoga therapy and Vedic studies under the guidance of her teacher Hansa Knox. She is a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist, former president of Yoga Teachers of Colorado, and has founded three yoga conferences. She has trained over 100 yoga teachers in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Colorado.

Allison’s inspiration and desire for helping other yoga teachers is boundless. She harnesses this passion to encourage and motivate other yoga teachers in overcoming self-doubt and burnout. Incorporating her considerable knowledge, skills, and experience to guide yoga teachers along their yoga-teacher journey, Allison supports them through the mental, spiritual, and physical challenges they face.

Allison is also the founder of the Yoga Teacher Conf, the ONLY conference just for yoga teachers – dedicated to providing affordable continuing education, community support and connection for yoga teachers around the world.
